Donations to We Are the Uninsured in any amount will go directly toward program costs. Because We Are the Uninsured is an advocacy project of Neighborhood Family Practice Community Health Center, there are little overhead expenses.

In 2006, the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine generously provided start-up funds for We Are The Uninsured that have allowed for the costs of a part-time staff person, promotional materials such as buttons and stickers, postage for mass mailings to legislators, website development, and other start up expenses. That funding is ending in fall, 2007. Other small funding sources will be sought to keep the group growing strong.

Grassroots fundraising is always a good idea for a grassroots group. With that in mind, we ask that if you support the work of this group and would like to make a donation, please do so!
